Lesson 57 Making Up

Lesson 57 is called Making Up, not relationship wise but society wise. Meaning, there are certain social responsibilities we all have. General respects and norms that we all expect to happen in day to day life. Like personal habits, personal space, and personal safety. That is what we owe to one another, but some of us go a step further we want to look “desirable”. That is a responsibility that is heavy, because we really don’t know what anyone else likes so we fix ourselves up so we would like it. Then you get a little attention and you like it then attention is what you seek and not just being comfortable. Well this lesson is about that getting back to being comfortable. I know dudes who complain about the women they are attracting, it’s their bait. If you dress like a trick you will attract whores. Same with women if you dress like a bitch that only wants bitchy things you will attract dogs by the mob. There was a philosopher named Lord 3*2 putts Houston RIP who said ” Hoes don’t get choose, I smash off on vogues, wear starched down clothes” Meaning, in my culture if you chase it you’re a hoe, male or female. This episode is about the patience that comes with living and knowing that what is for you is for you. This may not be an easy concept, until you confront it in your real life. The question is why am I putting on make up or “costume” to impress people I don’t want anything to deal with? Or can I attract my tribe with just my vibe? It aint cheap or profitable to “look” like you got money in hopes of getting money is a young mans game. Anyway enjoy lesson 57 and see if you can release some of the responsibilities you hold over yourself.

Lesson 58 Consistency w/ Jabari Muhammad

Lesson 58 is about finding the path of consistency. Most ideas, game plans, and anything worth doing should be done with consistency. When shown correctly everybody will know you mean business even if you don’t have any at the moment. Or you are ready so you don’t have to get ready. Jabari Muhammad is the owner and operator of Snappers Seafood in Richmond at 1501 Ohio Ave. Serving all the Louisiana Fried Fish & Chicken you can handle. Jabari has been in the past and continue to be a hustler for all seasons. Food, clothing, and his faith has kept him afloat all these years, with the help of his astounding patrons who he gives all the credit to. This is a success story, don’t be blinded by the by illusions of success. Jabari is in his community helping, the money stays in his community and customers enjoys Snappers Seafood in the community. With the communities help he raised support to get his own food truck and looking to rally the community for another one or two, to bolster sales and to franchise out when necessary. My aim is to help so I hope fully that this is helpful to people…Please enjoy Lesson 58 of How Do You View You?

Lesson 53 Elder Abuse

Todays lesson talks about elder abuse not the physical but the mental aspects of it and how we individually can help a community. In a recent visit to a senior home, I was bothered by the lack of services and activities for the “knowledge holders” of our already been reprimanded for calling senior “old people” so I am learning happily. Please enjoy lesson 53.

Episode 47 – Freedom is a Choice

Today episode talks about freedom and what it means to be “free”. Too often we take for granted the meaning of freedom, to most of us it means being able to go where you want if you want. As I have gotten older, I see I cannot go anywhere I want, not without consequences. People have been kept out of opportunities and upward mobility, based on their freedom level.

I can walk into an exclusive Golf club (I don’t golf) but I will be escorted out and could possibly loose my life. This episode explores a different kind of freedom risking it for others that really do not respect the sacrifice you would be making. I know people that will go to jail for a shoplifting and would not think nothing of it, where if I am with them we ALL go. A pound ass snicker is not worth my being handcuffed and sat in a car and being in the system. On the other hand if I see a person getting hurt, I have to decide never an easy decision, when its strangers. Its a fine line and I go into the issue deeper.

Episode 46 – You & Your Whole Generation

Todays episode is about the challenges and misconceptions of breaking generational curses. And by any means money is not the answer, it can’t be. If a person gets off drugs or whatever the curse is for that generation. If you can remember the curse you are still part of it.

This is not downing any one’s’ accomplishments at all, conversely it’s just to call some people’s attention to the future you. In a word, breaking generational curses is huge responsibility. It will not be easy and it requires you to talk to people you may not like, but the future is the goal. Let’s be clear, this is really only for people that want to see the future with them in it. Meaning, if you pass knowledge in this world you are always here. In my family, they still talk about my great grandfather. Even after all of these years. A story of his exploits would make a very good western. Besides, if there is no family to tell about him we lose a hero, someone that we came from who was strong.

Lastly, engage with family now just to talk about. Everyone will not be on board. Do not ridicule those who chooses not to be part of this family thing, preferably celebrate those that show up. In spite of businesses failing or prospering, the children are watching. Take your time and explain to them the losses and wins, the decision making. You do not have to make money to WIN. Just know what you’re playing for and make that the priority. Find happiness in seeing your kids grow strong and never having to go through what you went through. Breaking generational curses.

Episode 45 – Peaceful Violence

Griffinstein discusses getting to a peaceful place by any means necessary. True peace cannot be given it can only be taken. But if it’s worth fighting for it’s worth walking toward. Do not take it personal they are mad at themselves, but no disrespect can be tolerated. Please enjoy episode 45 of How Do You View You…

Episode 43 – What can I say?

Episode 41 – Griffinstein discusses pain.

In todays episode of of How Do You View You, Griffinstein talks about pain management. And what people expect from you regardless. After surgery Griffinstein was in pain took no pain medicine and explains why. How his focus was off, how pain took over his whole life for three days. 11 stitches in the lip, the swelling and the unfortunate “rebleed” (story included) just brought out some old trauma. About growing up in Richmond and some of the things he has seen. Funny how smells and emotions can bring you to a moment in a snap of a finger. Working through all that with the pain, the lack of food the stitches were on his lip so light eating was called for. The moral of the story is: Some things we stand on until we are in a little bit of pain or uncomfortable and then crumble.

Also speaks on leaving people in this race we call life. We will plan for the rainy days and everybody that didn’t plan just eats at your house. But it’s not ok, some of us need to be around savers and do’ers so that efforts aren’t wasted. And there is guilt with that, but guilt from doing what’s best for you versus guilt for doing something for someone else is worse. If you put effort into something and you want to be great at it, you cannot work with people who just don’t care the whole project will come off as such. Some people believe that just the doing is enough, but most people know when love time and consideration was put into anything created by others. Most people talk the talk but the walk is always missing. Please enjoy this episode 41 of How Do You View You? Thank you
